Barack Obama’s Last Appeal Before Election Day: Hand-Delivered Donuts

Barack Obama promised that his gift of Sugar Shack Donuts was "Michelle approved."

There's nothing left to do now but vote. Well... almost nothing.

With the mid-term elections at last upon America, Barack Obama weighed in one more time to sweeten the deal before polling places open across the country tomorrow morning. President Obama surprised a group of volunteers and campaign staffers at a field office in Fairfax County, Virginia today when he personally delivered boxes of Sugar Shack doughnuts to the crowd.

And he noted that the treats were “especially approved” by Michelle, who "knows all of you have been working so hard,” Obama told the group of about 60 people, assembled there, as can be heard in video shared by ABC News.

Obama was paying a visit to the offices of Senator Tim Kaine and Jennifer Wexton, the Democratic candidate on the ballot in Virginia’s 10th Congressional District.

“You’ve been moving, so you’re allowed to have a little, little treat,” Obama said — referencing his wife's emphasis on fitness and exercise.

Kaine chimed in, “Either this crowd likes you or they like doughnuts."

We're guessing it's a bit of both.
